Please note

This tour involves moderate physical activity including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing temple stairs, and navigating narrow village pathways. While suitable for most fitness levels, it may not be appropriate for travelers with mobility issues or those using wheelchairs.

Please dress respectfully when visiting religious sites - shorts, sleeveless tops, and revealing clothing are not permitted in temples and pagodas. We recommend comfortable walking shoes as you'll encounter various terrain types from paved roads to dirt paths.

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum operates on a strict schedule and may be closed for maintenance without advance notice. When closed, we'll substitute with additional time at other historical sites or the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

Train Street visits depend on current local regulations and train schedules. Safety is our priority, so access may be modified based on authorities' guidelines. Alternative viewpoints and photo opportunities will be provided if direct access is restricted.

Tours operate in all weather conditions. During heavy rain, indoor cultural activities and covered areas will be prioritized. We recommend bringing sun protection and a light rain jacket depending on the season.

    What to bring

Hanoi's weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers. Comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes are essential as you'll be walking on various surfaces including temple stones, village paths, and potentially wet areas.

A sun hat and high-SPF sunscreen are particularly important during summer months (May-September) when temperatures can reach 35°C. During winter months (December-February), consider bringing a light jacket as temperatures can drop to 10-15°C.

While credit cards are accepted at some locations, many local vendors, artisans, and small shops prefer cash payments. Having Vietnamese Dong on hand will enhance your shopping experience and make tipping more convenient.

Don't forget your camera or ensure your phone is fully charged - this tour offers countless photo opportunities from ancient architecture to colorful incense displays. A portable phone charger might be useful for longer photography sessions.

A small day bag or backpack will be handy for carrying water, personal items, and any souvenirs you purchase along the way. Keep it light as you'll be carrying it throughout the walking portions of the tour.
